Farooq Azam Recycling Manufacturing Company (FRMC) recycles scrap tires into Tire-Derived Fuel (TDF), Carbon Black, and Steel Wire, powering industries while protecting the environment.
Founded in 2014, FRMC is licensed under the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) and headquartered in Kabul.
We are a pioneer in sustainable tire recycling, with the mission of reducing waste, promoting renewable energy, and supporting industrial growth in Afghanistan.

High-Btu alternative fuel for cement, paper, and power plants.

FRMC’s black carbon is produced using an advanced filtration process that significantly reduces environmental and health hazards. It is formed into briquettes, ensuring cleaner burning and minimal smoke emission—making it distinct from conventional black carbon products/ coal in the market. This product is long-lasting, cost-effective, and accessible to all socioeconomic groups. Importantly, this black carbon is derived from waste tires—a material that is otherwise hazardous to the environment. Through its recycling operations, FRMC not only mitigates waste pollution but also provides an affordable and clean energy source for heating, contributing to both environmental protection and public well-being. For added convenience and hygiene, the briquettes are individually wrapped in plastic and then packed into cardboard boxes, making them easy to handle, store, and transport without causing mess or dust.

Recycled tire steel for local and international steel markets.

Strong and durable steel fasteners for construction use.

Iron fertilizers boost plant growth, while flammable gas serves as a powerful fuel source.

Every year, thousands of scrap tires in Afghanistan cause land pollution, toxic fires, and health hazards. FRMC provides an eco-friendly solution by recycling tires into industrial products that reduce carbon emissions and replace fossil fuels.

We operate legally under Afghan law with AISA License No. D-56846.

The only certified producer of Tire-Derived Fuel (TDF) in Kabul.

Delivering 2 tons of Carbon Black daily plus large-scale TDF output.

Advanced pyrolysis technology with controlled emissions.

Supplying cement factories, steel plants, and manufacturers nationwide.
